Diann Mills New Release!!

DiAnn Mills - New Suspense Release-- Breach of Trust

I LOVED this book. It's the first one of DiAnn's that I've read, and certainly won't be the last, as I plan on purchasing each book in this series. Paige Rogers retired from the CIA and went into hiding after she'd betrayed by her team leader on an overseas op. She's trying to restructure her life and is making good progress when her old nemesis tracks her down and begins making trouble.

The action is fast, the plot isn't predictable, the characters have much more depth than most suspense novels, and there's a strong spiritual thread, as well. I'd highly recommend this book to anyone. Plenty of twists and turns to keep you moving through the pages. I found it very hard to put down!

Paige Rogers is a former CIA agent who lost all she treasured seven years ago when her entire team was killed in a covert mission. She blames their leader—Daniel Keary—whom Paige believes betrayed them. Disillusioned and afraid for her life, she disappeared and started a new life as a small-town librarian. But when Keary announces his candidacy for governor of her state, he comes after Paige to ensure that she won't ruin his bid for office. He threatens everything she holds dear, and Paige must choose between the life of hiding that has become her refuge . . . or risking everything in one last, desperate attempt to right old wrongs.

From the Back Cover
Paige Rogers survived every CIA operative’s worst nightmare.

A covert mission gone terribly wrong.

A betrayal by the one man she thought she could trust.

Forced to disappear to protect the lives of her loved ones, Paige has spent the last several years building a quiet life as a small-town librarian. But the day a stranger comes to town and starts asking questions, Paige knows her careful existence has been shattered.

He is coming after her again. And this time, he intends to silence her for good.

I've got chills running up and down my spine just reading the description! Sounds like a book I'll have to check out. :)

If you'll believe this, I sent in a "draft" idea for both those pictures, and Taffy WAS in the picture for the map pose. Over the boy's shoulder (I just flipped the horse). It's a mystery to me why they didn't include the horse in that pose, as well as the in the other cover pic. I sent them all the elements, as well, so they could put things together much nicer than my "ideas." So . . . there you have it.
